Troubleshooting Library

Remote Not Working

Siri Remote lag is common in beta.

Restart Remote:
Hold TV icon + Volume Down for 5 seconds until the status light on Apple TV flashes off and on.

"Get Beta Updates" Missing

If the menu isn't there:

  • Sign out/in of iCloud in Users and Accounts.
  • Ensure you are in a supported region.
  • Restart Apple TV (System > Restart).

Apps Crashing

Streaming apps often have strict DRM that fails on betas.

Solution: Check App Store for updates. If it persists, use AirPlay from your iPhone as a workaround.
