Can You Still Download the iOS 14 Beta?
No — and the reason is worth understanding, because it applies to every old iOS version. The iOS 14 beta programme closed in 2020, and Apple long ago stopped signing every iOS 14 build. Since each installation is verified against Apple's servers in real time, an unsigned build simply cannot be installed on any iPhone, no matter which file you have or which tool you use.
The iOS 14 beta profile that circulated at the time is equally dead. Apple removed the configuration-profile mechanism entirely in 2023 with iOS 16.4. Sites still offering an "iOS 14 beta profile download" are distributing a file format that current versions of iOS no longer even recognise.
What iOS 14 Introduced
iOS 14 was one of the most visually significant releases in the platform's history. It brought Home Screen widgets for the first time, the App Library for automatic app organisation, compact call and Siri interfaces that no longer took over the whole screen, and Picture in Picture video on iPhone.
It also introduced App Clips, the privacy indicators that show when the camera or microphone is active, and Translate. Many of those features are still recognisably part of iOS today — which is the practical point: everything iOS 14 introduced lives on, refined, in the version your iPhone runs now.
What You Can Install Instead
Every iPhone that ran iOS 14 supports at least iOS 15, and most support far newer versions. If your iPhone is currently on iOS 14, it is there because updates were postponed, not because it is capped — open Settings → General → Software Update and your device's true maximum version will be offered.

How Beta Downloads Work Today
If what you actually want is the experience of running a beta, that programme is very much alive — it just works differently. Apple ties beta access to your Apple Account: enrol once at beta.apple.com or developer.apple.com, then choose the beta channel under Settings → General → Software Update → Beta Updates.
